I stood behind Bush after 9/11, even though I didn't like him before...I failed to stand behind him because of the continuing mistakes he made (although the mistakes I think he made are ones you probably dont consider mistakes)... Hence, i'm saying I gave him a chance and the benefit of the doubt because it was for the good of the country.. I will do the same for Obama. I hope he will prove me wrong, but I dont think he will.

At least you're trying to stand behind him... which is more than I can say for a few people, who seem content to merely state that anyone willing to give him a chance is an idiot. I don't have much faith in him either, but fact is, he's the fucking president, so I'm willing to give him a shot. I gave George Bush 8 years worth of chances, as much as I hated him, but he managed to fuck it up. Will Obama do better, who knows? Only the next 4 years will tell.

And this is why I hope he will realize that 55 million people voted against him, and he should take a long pause and think before he decides to go running to the left with Reid and Pelosi.. Like I said, im not hopeful.. But we'll see.
