The final was played last Saturday. South Africa defeated New Zealand, 12-11, I threw away a contest win, and after being the only one to correctly pick South Africa to win, king qaz completed what may be the biggest final-round comeback in Legion contest history, going from 7th place after the semifinals to winning the tiebreaker for the overall win.
Here are the final standings:
king qaz will receive two slots of tech through Caesar shortly. He gets the 10 Legion Cup points and 5 Global Cup points, but the bonus Legion Cup point for most correct picks will be shared by Firkinvald, Deadpocketss, and me, who each had 10 picks correct. I'm in the process of updating the spreadsheets, so the Legion Cup thread will be updated once that's done.
