Re: DO NOT WORRY!
I live in the South Bay in California and we just had one that was...5.6 I believe in Septermberish of last year. I'm a couple years too young for Loma Prieta, which was the famous one during the World Series, and was 6.9.
Nice to see your survived. EDIT: Yes I know the conversation about the earthquake ended a while ago, but I'm new damnit and I get to spam the older threads. So THERE.

Re: DO NOT WORRY!
Yes, Mono is the Kissing Disease. Just get rid of your tonsils; you don't need them anyway. I haven't had mine for over 20 years, and I don't miss them at all.
Good to hear that the earthquake didn't get you. We don't have those here (unless you count football games registering on the scale as an earthquake) that you can feel. We get a lot of rain, hurricanes, heat, and humidity, but we do get about 45 or so days of cold between the end of November and beginning of April. Some times you can wear shorts on Christmas, others, not. I have only seen snow in the first-person once in my 24 years of life. Last Monday it got up to 80dF, and Friday it got down to 37dF (at night, of course). It does suck when it is "winter," though, because we tend to get a lot of head colds with the changing weather. Hot one day, cold the next, then hot again. I love it though.
