Default 2023–24 UEFA Europa League
The UEFA Europa League is the secondary continental competition for European club association football (soccer). Contested annually by cup winners and high league finishers from across Europe, as well as teams eliminated from the UEFA Champions League, our contest begins with the group stage. The winner of the UEFA Europa League hoists the UEFA Cup, and the winner of this contest earns 2 slots of cash or tech, or $18m in Politics and War aid, plus increased points in the Legion Cup and Global and Football/Soccer mini-cups (see the Legion Cup thread for the points allocation).

For those who have played in this contest (and other UEFA contests) in the past, there is a major change. The group stage and knockout round contests have been merged, so there is now only one contest for each league. This is to increase interest in the group stage.

There are 32 teams in the group stage, drawn into 8 groups of 4 teams each. You will pick the top 2 teams in each group for 1 point each. Here are the teams:

The split contest structure for the UEFA club contests was abolished with the introduction of the Legion Cup, so no prize will be awarded for the group stage (as was customary in past years).

The knockout round playoffs will start on February 15, pairing the second-placed teams from the Europa League group stage and the third-placed teams from the Champions League group stage (the group winners from the Europa League will receive byes to the round of 16). Correct picks in these matches are worth 1 point each. Here is the full list of matches and start times (which will not be posted individually on the contest calendar due to congestion):
