Not only did he have the asshatery of going on national tv to do what he did, then he tells us to get over it, then he puts out that asshat nike commercial. What does he expect Cleveland to love him? Of course they were going to come up with something like this. Lebron seriously needs to fire all his PR people stat.

He is and he isn't. Nike wants to prop him up because they think he is the basketball player on the planet. Nike produced the commerical that is satirized in this thread. Lebron was completely unproffesional with how he went on national TV to make a pompous decision about going to Miami. Noone does that because it arrogant as all hell. Secondly, he told noone where he was going until his 'decison', the only people that knew were Miami, his family, and his financial team. The teams that were trying to acquire him were left in the dust from it because it was the last week of free agency. There really wasn't any time for Cleveland, Chicago, New York and the Los Angeles Clippers to fill their rosters before the season was to begin with anyone worth anything talent wise. Thirdly, he is trying to establish a global marketing brand so that he can get more in endorsements. This farse of an apology is exactly what companies were looking for so that they are not wary of giving him money. The problem with that is now this has backfired. He spit in Cleveland's face with the televised circus in the guise of proceeds going to charity and now came off as an elitest douchebag while trying to reestablish his credibility and marketability. He has no real claim in Miami specifically because Wade is cleaner and alot more personable.
