Default 2024–25 UEFA Europa League (knockout rounds)
The UEFA Europa League is the secondary continental competition for European club association football (soccer). Contested annually by some of the best clubs from across Europe, as determined by their positions in their respective domestic leagues, our abbreviated main contest this season begins with the knockout round playoffs. The winner of the UEFA Europa League hoists the UEFA Cup. Atalanta are the defending champions, but they are unable to defend their title after qualifying directly to the UEFA Champions League league stage as a result of winning that title.

This contest is part of the 2024-25 Legion Cup. It is also part of the Football/Soccer Cup. Since the league phase has been excluded, this contest will only award the normal point allocation (it normally awards double points). Accordingly, it will also only award a prize of 2 slot-equivalents. (This is unless the contest reaches the ten-player double-points threshold which applies to all contests.) The results from the preliminary contest for the qualifying rounds will also be excluded due to multiple irregularities with scheduling, but all participants in that contest will receive 1 bonus point (regardless of placing) as a reward for playing in that contest.

For this season only, the points structure has been modified. There are 5 rounds in this 24-team, straight-knockout tournament. They will award points in a 1-1-2-4-6 allocation.

The knockout round playoffs start Thursday, February 13, and you can watch the matches on Paramount+ in the US. Here are the match-ups and start times:
  • Ferencváros vs. Viktoria Plzeň (11:45 AM)
  • Twente vs. Bodř/Glimt (2 PM)
  • Union Saint-Gilloise vs. Ajax (11:45 AM)
  • AZ vs. Galatasaray (2 PM)
  • Midtjylland vs. Real Sociedad (11:45 AM)
  • PAOK vs. FCSB (2 PM)
  • Fenerbahçe vs. Anderlecht (11:45 AM)
  • Porto vs. Roma (2 PM)
