well they are immortal unless i deal with them, i can't kill them all, there are always some stragglers and the cycle starts again. woodpeckers are awesome when they walk up the tree it looks like that gravity doesn't affect them at all. great beings, love them

A woodpecker's short legs, sharp tail and perfectly oriented toes all have mechanisms which make it look like they are walking up a tree bark. To be honest, I've never wondered about it until you brought it up.

i have seen some larger woodpeckers who walk up the tree like we walk on the street, it's weird looking shit, standing and just walking up the tree
