Complete: 2025 NCAA March Madness (Men's and Women's College Basketball)

Every March, millions of Americans fill out brackets for the NCAA Division I basketball championships, as part of a tournament widely known as "March Madness". Office pools are involved, along with a ton of legal (and illegal) gambling. There are plenty of upsets, and so-called "Cinderellas" (worse-seeded teams that make deep runs). It's a sports phenomenon like no other.

Once again, I will be hosting an ESPN Tournament Challenge group for The Legion and friends, and that will serve as the contest platform. There will be separate contests for both the men's and women's tournaments. New this year, you will also have the option of submitting a bracket by posting in this thread. Both platforms will use standard ESPN.com scoring, and you will be allowed to submit up to 3 brackets for each contest (your best brackets will be used when taking results). This three-bracket limit includes both ESPN.com and forum posts combined. If you submit excess brackets, I will eliminate your highest-scoring brackets as a penalty until you are below the three-bracket limit.

This makes up two separate contests in the Legion Cup, as well as the North American Cup. Each winner will also receive two slot-equivalents as a prize.

March Madness is over. There were few Cinderellas in either tournament, and more 1 seeds made the Final Four in the men's tournament than the women's tournament (which is unusual). Congratulations to Florida and UConn, who won the men's and women's tournaments, respectively.

Both contests were decided before the championship games. In the men's tournament, I prevailed with my manual-pick bracket (the other two were auto-picked). Firkinvald won the women's contest.

Of particular note, guests from GATO (j3rdegree and Wootmeister) finished fifth in both contests, and they each earn a point in the Legion Cup standings. Telikos Terakhir finished last in both contests.

I will not post the point allocation. Instead, I'll post them to the Legion Cup thread once I finish the NCAA Men's Hockey contest. No bonus points will be awarded for most correct picks, as the winners of the respective contests both made the most correct picks in those contests.

I will be the first to take the PnW prize of $18 million. Firkinvald will receive 2 slots of tech.
