Default 2024–25 UEFA Champions League (knockout rounds)
The UEFA Champions League is the primary continental competition for European club association football (soccer). Contested annually by the best clubs from across Europe, as determined by their positions in their respective domestic leagues, our abbreviated main contest this season begins with the knockout round playoffs. The winner of the UEFA Champions League hoists the European Cup. Real Madrid are the defending champions.

This contest is part of the 2024-25 Legion Cup. It is also part of the Football/Soccer Cup. Since the league phase has been excluded, this contest will only award the normal point allocation (it normally awards double points). Accordingly, it will also only award a prize of 2 slot-equivalents. (This is unless the contest reaches the ten-player double-points threshold which applies to all contests.) The results from the preliminary contest for the qualifying rounds will also be excluded due to multiple irregularities with scheduling, but all participants in that contest will receive 1 bonus point (regardless of placing) as a reward for playing in that contest.

For this season only, the points structure has been modified. There are 5 rounds in this 24-team, straight-knockout tournament. They will award points in a 1-1-2-4-6 allocation.

The knockout round playoffs start Tuesday, February 11, and you can watch the matches on Paramount+ in the US. Here are the match-ups and start times (all times are 2 PM server time unless otherwise noted):
  • Brest vs. Paris Saint-Germain (Feb 11, 11:45 AM)
  • Club Brugge vs. Atalanta (Feb 12, 11:45 AM)
  • Manchester City vs. Real Madrid (Feb 11)
  • Juventus vs. PSV Eindhoven (Feb 11)
  • Feyenoord vs. Milan (Feb 12)
  • Celtic vs. Bayern Munich (Feb 12)
  • Sporting CP vs. Borussia Dortmund (Feb 11)
  • Monaco vs. Benfica (Feb 12)

Apologies for the extreme lateness of this update. The knockout round playoffs finished almost two weeks ago. Here are the results:

  • Club Brugge defeats Atalanta, 5-2
  • Real Madrid defeats Manchester City, 6-3
  • PSV Eindhoven defeats Juventus, 4-3
  • Benfica defeats Monaco, 4-3
