Does anyone know someone with covid? I have yet to have anyone close to me deal with it. I have a lowered immune system and haven't missed a day of work since the outbreak. My job puts in the public and around common areas all day. I do use hand sanitizer although I used it before the outbreak. The whole thing just seams odd.

As I said above, my mom's friend's husband was hospitalized with COVID. Their son went to the local urgent care facility, and he couldn't even get tested after waiting for hours. To make matters worse, their oldest daughter is a leukemia survivor, so it would be especially dangerous for her (luckily she doesn't live with them anymore).

Speaking of staying healthy, a vaccine is meant to come out in December.
My main worry from all this is that super-vaccines will start to become more common either letting people mingle without caring and killing millions, or that the governments will become China level authoritative in order to protect itself.

I heard a rumour, that I hope to God isn't true, that there is an expected Covid 21 from China related to the pig flu scare of some years back. China seems to get all the horrible viruses before everyone else.
