You want to know how UHC would go in the US? Look at the VA health care system... its a joke! It holds true with the saying that if you want to f*ck up something that is working, let the government take over.
You want an alternative system that another country uses? Why not take a look at the swiss? Their health care system is 100% privatized and is perhaps one of the best in the world.
