The Legion Forum Code of Conduct:

This Code of Conduct applies to all using these boards and by posting here (on the board) you agree to abide by them.

1) General behavior: You will refrain from insulting, threatening and harassing other members of the board (whether they be Legion members or foreign people) both when posting IC (in character) and OOC (out of character). If you are asked by a member of the Government to alter your behavior in a certain thread you are to abide by that request.

2) Respect: You will respect that people have the right to their own opinions and refrain from harassing people that you might not agree with.

3) Discrimination: Discrimination against anyone regardless of their race, religion, sexual preference, gender etc. will not be tolerated.

4) Language: Linguistic diversity is appreciated and as such much will be tolerated, however extremely obscene language will not be tolerated.

5) Common sense: There are certain things that you will be expected to know for yourself isn't tolerated and playing the "But it wasn't in the Code of Conduct" will not help you if you commit an obvious wrong.

6) Complaining: Any user of these boards may at any time launch a complaint against another user by sending a PM containing the offending post (or if it is a repeat offense posts) to a member of the Legion house of representatives along with an explanation as to why they feel punishment is warranted. It will then be up to the representative to decide if punishment is warranted. If a Representative of the House if not available and an offense warrants immediate action any admin may be contacted. Note that this only apply in extreme cases.

7) Breaking the Code of Conduct: If a person is found to break any of the above mentioned rules any online Consulate, Senate or House of Representatives member may remove the offenders posting privileges for up to 48 hours. Once they have done that they shall make a post in the restricted leadership forums where punishment, if any is needed, will be determined. If the offense is severe and calls for expulsion from the Legion then it will only need to be approved by 3 members of government before being put into effect.

Although the administrators and moderators of The Legion will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of The Legion, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.
