in case you still care, i talked to a security guy @ my university and he said that disabling ICMP would disable the packet flooding. so u were right. they would have 2 be doing something more than just a massive ping

I have daydreams that I'll be at the coffee place and she doesn't show up, but she passes by in a car and sees me crying or really sad (because she didn't show up) and then she feels bad!
