The problem with you idea is that, generally, aiding an AA at war allows for a DoW. So, the combatants will realize this and attack you anyway.

If we need to, I can start a "banker's alliance," neutral but existing largely for aiding Legion. I and the rest of the bankers are pinned in PM right now, but could be sending out aid immediately if we were in a tiny AA that flew under the radar of our opponents. It wouldn't be hard to do; we could still use the Legion (secure) forums and run our daily ops in a closed facebook page. I personally have 600 tech burning a hole in my pocket.
If you think it would be a recipe for disaster or against CN rules, or if you like the idea let me know. (If the alliance can just wait out the war, I will do that too.) I will be on line most of the day.
