Russia/Ukraine
So while it has not been fully confirmed, some flight site is showing that there are no flights in Ukraine of any kind indicating a no fly zone and thus a ground war will likely start very soon, more so than what has been.
I know there was a map that showed which parts of Ukraine has large Russian speakers, so I imagine those are the areas they will be taking over.

If they do attack, they will focus in the East where the Russian speakers are and then pinch towards Kiev. I think it is a foolish mistake by Russia to try this.

There's currently 100,000 russian soldiers on the border setting up medivac stations and anchoring in their artillery units. They're invade soon that's for sure. Then he'll move north to the NATO members and take them as well or try too if NATO doesn't retaliate. I'm currently in Russia and everyone knows this but are all going about their daily lives like nothings happening. It's a bit crazy. Putin doesn't care about the impact as he knows the only thing to stop him is a nuclear weapon and I'm sure no nation will start throwing nukes at each other.

The US is said to have a psuedo anti-nuclear shield, but even if it can shoot down 50%, that is not nearly enough considering the thousands the Russians own and fire with.
That said, the Baltics and Poland are very close with the EU, and Poland is more of a threat than Ukraine if they would be attacked. Moldova should be worried though.

I don't think the USA or NATO or EU get involved to be nice. It's in their own interest. Anyway, Russia is clearly the aggressor here.

France is also facing a huge election where Macron cant risk fighting a war right before the showdown for the highest office in Paris. Biden becoming President was not expected and it refocused the USA in a way however I think Puting was genuinely suprised that NATO held together when he started amassing troops and even the British started saying they wil deploy troops. Its just a theory that could be expanded on or crushed with a variety of arguements.. its just something I thought id share for anyone who cares enough. As I said, Putin is a very intelligent man, he does noting without a deep calculation and strategic planning which makes sure he wins, or at least comes out looking very strong.
