The National Guard is more of a reserve defense force and domestic military presence for times of emergency than an out-and-out 'national police force.' They may be called in for crowd control or for assisting in disaster relief but I doubt that anyone except a malicious dictator would apply them as regular police forces.

I said the lions suck, never said the bears were good and I just dont like the packkers
