Debate: American Public Vs. American Army

I was jsut thinking. I want to see what everyone else thinks. When they come for our guns, chances are they will meet armed resistance. If this breaks into a new Revolutionary war I think the people will triumph. Due to the fact that almost every American owning a gun has a rifle and can shoot accurately between 0-400 yards. Where a soldier has an M-16 that is most effective in medium and close range. I think that even though The Army has tanks and helicopters that The Public would win. Rifles peirce bullet resistant vests. A well placed shot into a cockpit of a helicopter would bring it down. A tank would be useless when blinded then swarmed. 1 molotov would blind the tank. I think we would win.
