This. Whomever is in charge of this (mayor, police chief) really must have nothing at all better to do. I can understand why the city government here in Madison instituted a ticket system for Halloween; out-of-state visitors were causing riots and property damage to the point where costs incurred to the city were out of control. While paying to get into an otherwise fee-free public area feels instinctively wrong, the money we pay to get in helps bring in live music and makes for a surprisingly safe and interesting event (compared to pre-ticket years), considering all the alcohol consumption in town. This bullshit in Boulder, though....who are the naked people hurting again? And for the love of everything holy, don't say "think of the children!!!!!!!!!"*

*(After re-reading this post the last two sentences kinda sounds like I'm directing my query at Imperial. I'm not, it's rhetorical/aimed at Boulder, CO gov't officials. I'm just too lazy to figure out how to rewrite this to read better. )
