took 20 minutes.. isn't it supposed to take like 5 hours????

Depends, clean installs can take less.

It's usually 1-3 hours if you're updating. A clean install can go from 20-30.

Jesus 5 hours what the FOOK NO!

I installed windows XP on a P3 with 96 mb in less than an hour.

Windows 7 on a decent laptop or pc should only take about 15 - 20 mins.

Now Throw Ubuntu on the system and your ready to go!

First thing you install is CompizConfig Manager.
