trump as president
the more i think about it there may be some good to come of it.
but not for Americans. as long as you have a firebrand type commander in chief the rest of us can alter global practice. yes he will impose draconian law where he can but ultimately we will just ignore his commands. that is something we've never been able to do before because so far a presidency has ever maintained influence. perhaps a America Trump presidency is what we need. to re balance our effort.

Re: trump as president
From a global perspective the possibility of a Trump presidency is frightening.
His anti-Muslim rhetoric is deeply disturbing. Looking at the way he conducts his business affairs if it were transposed onto the highest office in the land and one of the most important jobs in world politics would be dangerous. I'm struggling to see why people would entertain the prospect of voting for someone who is clearly unhinged. That's just a global view...

Re: trump as president
Trump's been a bit out of the news these days. People have been busy with Hillary's nomination as the Democratic Presidential candidate.

Re: trump as president
Yes. A reality TV mogul/business man who has pretty much failed at every major business deal he's ever conducted. Whom is really only famous because of his reality show, and the over-the-top personality he's known for.
Then we have a career politician who is a clear pathological liar. Whom, actually should be brought up on charges. I could go on and on about these two morons for hours. Needless to say, I'm from the United States. I am neither happy with the state of the country, or the potential future it's heading toward.

In the Bush years everyone thought Americans were a bunch of twats. If the American electorate want to go back to those days well they get the government they deserve.

Trump is the response of the silent majority realizing the Neo-cons aren't actually conservatives or for small government. Even though Trump is far from ideal, he isn't part of the Bush or Clinton dynasty and clearly doesn't want to be (unlike the other ~15 Republican candidates). There were more than enough opportunities for either the Democrats or Republicans to stop Trump, but not with a Clinton or a Bush as the party favorites.

Re: trump as president
And does he seriously have a chance of winning?
I've been looking at the odds Clinton 1/2, Trump 7/4. Is he worth a punt?

Re: trump as president
Trump has an extremely good chance of winning. The more Wikileaks exposes Clinton's ties to the big banks and the Russians, the less inclined her people will be to come out to vote, even if she continues to hold on in the polls. And with the primary fraud that let Clinton win, I would expect all of Sanders' supporters to either stay home or defect, which alone probably tips the balance for Trump.
