Speaker of the League of Nations, 05.04.07 to 12.05.07

The story of Rakari's association with the Legion is one of long-overdue praise. The Alexanders—Logan and Cassie—arrived in the Legion in late April 2006, part of a batch of new nations that soon devoted themselves to their chosen alliance. Early on, Rakari found a niche in networking with fellow young nations and quickly became the Legion's chief recruiter. Her relentless recruiting skills resulted in Legion's membership exploding from 250 to nearly 600 in two months. Rakari's eagerness to serve the Legion also brought her to the Admiralty, where she served as a Centurion during the WSA incident and Barfight. It was also during these fights that Rakari was struck with the first of over a dozen nukes she would take en nomio Legio.

Unfortunately, where Rakari thrived, others failed to pick up the pace. With mounds of new recruits coming in, the Legion found itself either unable to unwilling to instill its heritage and humility into younger nations. Often Rakari's hard work would go unnoticed and underappreciated, resulting in her first departure after serving as acting Admiralty chief of staff. She returned a month later and was elected Home Minister, yet resigned when the workload of masking and screening new recruits before and during the Second Great War overwhelmed her. Her second departure from the Legion coincided with her helping with formation of another Purple alliance, Valhalla. However, she would return less than two weeks later and help with the Legion's war effort. Following the resignation of Coldflame as Speaker toward the end of the war, Rakari ran uncontested for the empty seat and served the remainder of the term with distinction.

While the Legion's members, many of them recruited by Rakari, bolted when asked to serve their alliance, Rakari sacrificed with great distinction, proving that despite her interrupted membership, she is a true Legion member at heart, and one most worthy of including in our hall of fame.

Shall the memory of Rakari be enshrined in our memories and hearts now and forever.

Unity is Strength. Ave Legio.

Inducted 1 June 2007.
