Re: Assassin's Creed 2
I would agree with SiCkO's initial assessment. The game starts of really slow but builds up as you continue to play. Gameplay is identical to the first, toss in new weapons and the ability to disarm your opponents. Movement and building scaling is exactly the same as AC1, so if something pissed you off in the first, it's back to be annoying.
Overall, the major improvements I see are in the linear story, varied mission types and access to weapons and armor, plus some customization tossed in.

Re: Assassin's Creed 2
The major problem I had with the first game is that it was way too easy. It got so that I would simply collect all the guards in a city and then systematically slaughter them with relatively little trouble. Does this change in the second game?

Considering that you have medicine to heal on the fly, this may negative the difficulty increase of the guards.

Re: Assassin's Creed 2
I personally haven't played either of them, but my brother and my cousin both said that the battle system makes the 1st one too easy and thus making the game worth crap to them (easy isn't worth playing, if you want a challenge play Contra..)
But the videos and such that I have seen look bomb as hell.. is there a PC version?

Re: Assassin's Creed 2
AC2 isn't out for the PC right now, but looks like they have a release date posted for March 16, 2010: http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/Prod...oduct_id=74510
