A Treaty of Mutual Defense between the Legion and Confederation of Organized Nations
Article I: Legion and CON: Together likes ones and zeros.
The ratification of this treaty acknowledges, though we may be separated by colors, that a strong bond of friendship exists between the Confederation of Organized Nations and the Legion. The signatories pledge to do their utmost to maintain amicable relations, and to avoid any and all conflict for the sake of said relations and to remain awesome.
Article II: Common Defense
Any act of aggression toward either party shall be considered an act of aggression toward both parties. A state of Defensive war shall exist that overrides any lesser treaties.
Article III: Intelligence
Should either party be privy to information that may affect the military or political situation of the other, they are obliged to inform the other party.
Article IV: Optional Aggression
Such is the nature and the strength of the Legion-CON relationship, that, should either party deem it necessary to perform an act of military aggression on another alliance or nation, the other party may, if it is consented to by both parties, participate in said act of aggression. Neither party is bound to acts of aggression, but is encouraged to participate.
Article V: Aid and Free Beer
It shall be accepted that either party may choose to send aid to the other in a time of need. This is not required but friends don’t let friends down. CON needs grapes for wine and the Legion needs Oranges for screwdrivers.
Article VI: Cancellation
In the unfortunate event that this pact must be annulled or canceled, the initiating party must provide both 72 hour notice before its cancellation, and a legitimate reason for its cancellation.
