Yeah, not sure if it's been brought up, be GnR released their new album(finally). Axl Rose is about the only remaining member compared to the last record and the one before that. I remember I was really big on this band in the old days, i've not yet listened to all of this new one. The last original member Duff Mckagen left in 1998 due to a drinking problem, major health issues and a sick mother who died recently. Overall, it is nice to see them back.

You can hear the album songs at http://free.napster.com/view/artist/index.html?id=10000053

Lyrics are at this address, but as always you may not need them as they are pretty clear to understand in most songs unlike many metal/punk bands from the era. http://www.gunsnroses.us/chinesedemocracy/iftheworld.htm

I downloaded just the title song and, while it doesn't quite sound like classic GnR, it is good both musically and nonmusically. Definitely worth picking up.

I downloaded the entire album, and I couldn't listen to it. I found it to be really bad compared to GnR's old metal stuff. I think it was just over-thought over the past 13 years to the point where whatever point or purpose Rose had for that song have become completely convoluted. It definitely doesn't live up to one of the most expensive albums ever produced, and the longest awaited. If anything, it's worth picking up to hear the different styles of quite a few very good guitarists, such as Buckethead.

Nothing compares to classic GnR, I had to listen to it as I would a new band.

I don't know that much about the old GnR, but I actually bought this album instead of downloading it. I love it that much.
