City Empires, while at first glance an up and coming game, beneath all that there is a very different world. About 20 minutes ago, 3 prominent members of the community were banned completely without warning. Woody of Pacifica, Shima of New Sparta, and Starcraftmazter of NAAC. Our crimes? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Over the past couple days, the forum environment on CE has become increasingly hostile. Moderators, would randomly delete topics, and entire users from the forums if they would simply ask a question. So we got tired of this. Starcraftmazter decided to simply create an off site forum and host it as an alternative to the CE forums. They plan was to discuss with the admin of CE and try to solve the problems that had led to this boycotting. However, the admin has decided to launch a war upon his own users. By banning us three, he has managed to anger the entire community.

So, join the cause, fight oracomm, and boycott the CE forums. Thanks.

Forums? Oh, those things I never go to.... :) The largest extent of CE-related forum discussion I get involved in is a thread that is now buried somewhere on ML's CN forum. Speaking of, I maybe should look at that thread one day. ;)

lol City Empires. I'm technically in Pacifica on there. Holy hell does that game suck. It's like someone joined CN once in a drunken, stoned haze, remembered bits and pieces, and then stuck them all together with minimal coding and coherence.

Anyone else notice that the CE site has been "suspended" today? If it gets shut down, I'll have an excuse to join a different online game...

I've never been to them. Frankly, I don't think I care enough about the game to bother visiting their forums or even the forums ML has set up for CE business. I just buy infra, military, utilities, and the occasional school and leave it at that.
