I am FINE! :bat:

Despite one of the strongest earthquakes in the last 25 years hitting the UK. I have come through unscathed!

I am fine, without so much as a scratch! Nothing was broken, and my fish are recovering nicely!

Fairly normal for us living on the San Andreas Fault. Good to hear that you are okay though.

Including the fish! :P

Heh..I live in Maryland. Never had an earthquake. Never had a tornado. Had a hurricane, but by the time they make it that far inland, its just a pissed off cloud.

Lucky you. I live in Kansas. If you can successfully predict the weather, you are fortunate. Tornados, high winds, sleet, hail, snow, sun, heat, and that's just from the past week.

I'm from Wisconsin. No hurricanes, no earthquakes, but tornadoes are occasionally nasty. But we have to deal with the bitch-ass cold for 7-9 months a year, so don't give me no lip about 20-40 degree morning weather. :P Try 40 below, now that's cold!

Also, good to know Toga will continue to fill the forum with spam. ;)

I live in the South Bay in California and we just had one that was...5.6 I believe in Septermberish of last year. I'm a couple years too young for Loma Prieta, which was the famous one during the World Series, and was 6.9.

Nice to see your survived.

EDIT: Yes I know the conversation about the earthquake ended a while ago, but I'm new damnit and I get to spam the older threads. So THERE.

dunno, but for hundreds of years doctors believed the only way to get tonsilitis was by kissing someone who had it. its also quite uncommon in older people

and its fecking annoying

Yes, Mono is the Kissing Disease. Just get rid of your tonsils; you don't need them anyway. I haven't had mine for over 20 years, and I don't miss them at all.

Good to hear that the earthquake didn't get you. We don't have those here (unless you count football games registering on the scale as an earthquake) that you can feel. We get a lot of rain, hurricanes, heat, and humidity, but we do get about 45 or so days of cold between the end of November and beginning of April. Some times you can wear shorts on Christmas, others, not. I have only seen snow in the first-person once in my 24 years of life. Last Monday it got up to 80dF, and Friday it got down to 37dF (at night, of course). It does suck when it is "winter," though, because we tend to get a lot of head colds with the changing weather. Hot one day, cold the next, then hot again.

I love it though.
