The American Legion Agreement
A treaty of protection between The Legion and America's Army
Introduction:
The Legion and America's Army hereby agree to the terms of this protectorate treaty.
Article I - Conduct:
Members of The Legion and members of America's Army shall show respect and courtesy towards one another at all times.
Article II - Non-Aggression:
Neither The Legion or America's Army shall engage in espionage, or war against another.
Article III - Assistance:
The Legion will assist America's Army in building a healthy economy through reasonable means.
Article IV - Protection:
The Legion shall protect America's Army from rogue and unprovoked wars of aggression. America's Army are highly encouraged but not required to declare on any nation and alliance attacking The Legion.
Article V - Tech Raiding:
The Legion and America's Army recognize that any war arising as a result of tech raiding shall be considered a provoked act of aggression and nullify Article IV. America's Army agree that there shall be no tech raiding of nations residing within the purple sphere.
Article VI - Intelligence:
Should either The Legion or America's Army receive information that indicates a threat to the security of one another, that information shall be communicated through private channels within 24 hours.
Article VII - Government Access:
America's Army will grant two members of The Legion government level access on its forums for the duration of this treaty. The leadership of America's Army shall give their recommendation as to who monitors America's Army from The Legion.
Article VIII - Notification of Treaties:
America's Army will agree to inform The Legion of all treaties above PIAT-level and take any advice given by The Legion under due consideration before making a final decision.
Article IX - Cancellation:
This treaty may be canceled at the discretion of The Legion or America's Army. The canceling party shall be required to give the other alliance 48 hours prior notice. If America's Army commits a grave violation of the spirit of this treaty The Legion reserves the right to cancel the protectorate immediately.
