I am have been having a lot of trouble with my mouse today. I just reformatted my computer and I have never had so many mouse accuracy problems in my life.

mouse clicks here>>>X
pointer here>>>>>>>>>x

This happens especially in games (it doesn't really happen when doing anything else actually). I was trying out the warhammer 40k DoW2 demo on steam today and the mouse is fine when I start the game up the first time but if I alt+tab out of the game and then go back into it the mouse is like my example shown above. I have tried turning off enhance pointer precision in the control panel but that didn't do anything. I think I installed all of my drivers (especially the ones that I think would affect the mouse). This didn't happen when I got my computer 2-3 years ago so I don't know what I did to fix this if it happened at all. If you have had this problem can you please help me? or if you know a computer tech site where I can post my question that would help out too.

Thanks :)

Hmm it could be a problem with the resolution?

Try changing the resolutions around, either game to match the default one you set, or the default one you set to match the game one. :O

First thing I could think of.

I just tried screwing around with the resolutions but still nothing. I'm gunna have to do a little more searching to see if anyone is having the same problems as me.

try updating the drivers of the mouse. Windows crap is dumb like that. like my mom's pc the cd drive isn't picked up and any virtual drives aren't picked up because of a registry error
