"When I saw them give each other dap, I was like 'Hell yeah!'"
GIVE ME A BRAKKKKKKKKKK!! They actually featured this on the NBC Nightly News.. THE NEWS! A fucking fistbump! The media's love and fawning over Obama makes me want to choke on my own vomit till I die.
No wonder no one has ever heard of William Ayers, Tony Rezko, or what Obama actually plans on doing in office.. besides meeting with the Iranian Hitler or his ideological counterpart, Hugo Chavez.. Or ending the fued on the Hills. They're too busy talking about how supa secksi cool he is.

Yes, because talking with your enemies is a horrible idea. Its much better to shoot first and ask questions later. Why don't we just occupy every nation we have problems with forever and never even try to work things out a different way. And William Ayers, and Tony Rezko are complete non-issues. I know some bad people, even been friends with a few, does that mean I am a bad person? Please! Get over it! Are we really to the point where people are accountable for ever acquaintance we've ever had? o_O
If we want to fight dirty, I can bring up McCain dumping his first wife for a younger beer heiress after his wife waited at home for 5 years, his second wife's drug addiction (as an adult) and theft from a charity, the Keating Five, McCain's shady real estate deals...
Personally, I'd like to not play that way this time. But if you want to, don't think lots of mud won't fly the other way.
Also, for the last time, Omaba isn't proposing to nationalize a thing, he isn't planning on seizing the assets of any companies, he isn't planning on placing the means of production into the workers' hands, he isn't proposing collectivize property. For god's shake its a frikin small tax rate increase on people that make a good chunk of change to subsidize health care for the poor. So calling him a communist or Hugo Chavez is about the biggest load of crap.

Right, because not meeting with our enemies has done wonders for our FP. Wait, no, guess not.
Oh, Rezko got convicted, it was on the front page of my paper. However, the leader going down with him is Blagoavitch the govenor, because Rezko will sell him out. I can't stand IL's state government, because it's a joke.

Not meeting with enemies reminds me of a 4 year old covering his ears and screaming 'Not Listening!'. Which I feel characterizes the Bush administration very well.

In America,” Obama says, “we have this strong bias toward individual action. You know, we idolize the John Wayne hero who comes in to correct things with both guns blazing. But individual actions, individual dreams, are not sufficient. We must unite in collective action, build collective institutions and organizations.”
- Barack Obama,
Interview with the Chicago Reader, 1995
Heh, the founding fathers built this country around individual rights, not collective rights.
Obama is a collectivist.. Look at national health care, he wants to expand the size and scope of the federal establishment beyond anything this country has ever known. He wants to take captial, YOUR capital and redistribute it and use wealth as a social force for change. This is straight outta Marx.
You say that he hasn't advocated those things... Because we actually don't know a god damn thing about what he wants to do. Hope and change... Change and hope... The same fucking thing every week. The same empty rhetoric, flowery language.. He is a demagogue. But what he HAS said should scare the shit out of all of us.. Wake up people.

He's not going to switch from moderate to extreme left over night. Trust me, it is something that take more than the worries of the right-wing to happen. Wanting to strengthen certain things like healthcare and schooling isn't communism, it isn't even socialism. If he was a communist/socialist... he'd have my vote... which he doesn't.

He never mentions collective vs individual rights. He is talking about collective vs individual effort. What he means is that the individual (the president) cannot tackle and defeat every problem, rather it takes the effort of all americans. This is in stark contrast to the usual theory behind politicans which is to claim they are super-human and will solve all the problems.
Also, Collective and Individual rights can coexist, Libertarian Socialism (which I am a believer of and is usually called Anarchism) places a strong emphasis on individual rights and freedoms within the economic situation of the socialist system.

OK, then by your logic the Republicans are Theocrats because they advocate more Christianity in government and more Christian-based laws.
Just because a dish has some chili pepper in it doesn't make it a taco, and just because someone believes in some income redistribution it doesn't make them a Communist. Any taxation beyond a flat fee or a regressive tax (not flat rate) is inherently income redistribution. Even if all the government paid for was the military the rich would pay more in actually dollars than the poor even though the received the same benefit. Meaning the rich person income was redistribute to the poor person.
Seriously, stop being so intellectually dishonest. You don't see me calling McCain a Nazi or a Theocrat just because they are on the same end of the political spectrum...

Canada has a Socialized Healthcare system since the 1960's and it isn't a communist nation.
