Battlefield 2142

I was just wondering if anyone plays BF 2142 online? I play it...sad to say pretty much religiously. But if there are any other players online, post your thoughts on the game and your in-game screename, and maybe your rank if you remember.

*Side note: Anyone who is really into the game, probably knows that Battlefield Bad Company comes out on June 23rd. It looks bad ass and let me tell you, its the only game I've ever been willing to get gouged by on its first day of release, so its gonna be good.

i prefer battlefield 2 the whole future thing ruined it for me also when i first played it still had the chopper seat swap glitch where to capture i point you swapped seats and could fly/shoot/take objectives and just be almost impossible to kill

Also in bf2 taking out a plane with a flashbang was funny and also c4 and kills with medi kits and just all the fun ways to kill people that arent boring, oh and death buggy suicide runs also

Never got into BF2142, but I love(d) BF2! Trouble is, I haven't been able to sign onto a server in months.. Everytime it loads and is about to launch to the server, the game just crashes. And since I don't know where my game CDs are anymore to re-install, guess i'm out of the fight.

i would do stats but i played cracked servers cos i hate paying money for stuff but now its gone down in price i guess i could go buy a copy cos it really is a great game unlike alot of the rubbish that comes out

It's cheap now.. you can actually get the whole collection (BF2, BF2 Special Forces, Euro Force, Armored Fury) for $30.

yeah i might do that just for the fun of the 'knife defib knife defib knife ect ect' way of getting crazy kills scores of a helpless sniper you got behind as he calls to his team 'help me on the roof im getting owned'

the other funny one is to flash bang jets on that aircraft carrier level by staying near the end of the runway this results in 'yay i got a jet, ahh my eyes, splat' if your more adventurous you can get c4 onto the under side of them as they fly over but its hard to time that
