I see you have them listed by manufacturer rather than individual console. I voted Nintendo, Apple, and Xbox because of Nintendo's historical awesomeness, the fact that I can still play Fallout and Fallout 2 whenever the hell I want, and Halo.

Perhaps, but Masters of Orion by Microprose and Freespace are only for the computer, and they are the single most kick ass games ever in ANY genre at ANY time. There can be no dicussion because it's true, regardless of what other unorthodox and heretical thoughts you may harbor.

It's sad the MOO is only for DOS and my Vista (which I hate) can't run it, because of all the crappy software issues of not being back compatable.

I think the main reason I and II don't work on new machines is because of their sheer awsomness. Or the fact that for 1 they changed the driver names so the game can't find the right software. The second needs direct X which has about ZERO back compatability. And the third one is just bad, like civilizations 3.

I love Xbox Live but let me say this Xbox has the worst hardware and console.

Definately have to agree with you here. I have yet to get the
Red Rings, but I would say that with all of the Recalls and
"Malfunctions" that Xbox didn't really think before they made.

PS3 has the most juiced up console out of them all, with it's
Blu-Ray and the Pretty nice sized hard drive along with it's
graphics processor. The only downfall is the small selection
of games exclusive to the console itself.

I used to love the shit out of my Nintendo. That thing was
amazing, no Live Updates and no Hardawre Malfunctions
it was straight up gaming the way it should have been

My biggest gripe with Xbox 360s (aside from their initial 3 years worth of console failures) is their proprietary components. You have specific accessories that can only purchased through Microsoft like the hard drive for instance. A 120GB hard drive costs $100 for the Xbox 360. Now for the same price, you can easily buy a 500GB hard drive for the PS3 because it allows for any 2.5" SATA hard drive.

Its really a huge rip off for the consumer because Microsoft is making boatloads of money off its accessories.
