I have been waiting forever for this game to come out, I believe this is the best game in its specific genre to date, but I do wonder, what are other people takes on this game?

fps and mmo are a bad combo. there only reason fps (which is a genre that hasn't seen innovation in about a decade) work is because of the fast paced, high intensity action.

mmo's are slow and plodding. There's no way around that. it's the nature of having a huge world (required to keep people playing a long time) The overall density of players is too low to make fps work.

The reason mmo games like WoW work so well is that they are designed in a way (and exist in a genre) that allows for the slow and plodding nature not to be a major deterrent.

i'm not. it's just i've been gaming for longer then most gamers have been alive. It takes a lot to get me excited, and this game definitely wont.

I read some of the story on the page and I gotta say I liked it...but I think I'd be more interested in reading it in book form then playing the game :P
