Hey I am getting Stronghold 2 in a few days, it is really awesome, maybe if you have a spare $10-20 ($10 used, $20 new) to pick up a copy or you have it, let me know and we can play some multiplayer and kick the crap out of each other, or team up and kick the crap out of others (human or computers, dont really care either way)

Some videos I seen that are really awesome are these;

I have Stronghold 1, never picked up the 2nd copy. That 1000 crossbows vs. spears is pretty impressive, though it lagged like crazy!

Yeah, from a lot of the video responses (THAT I READ AFTER I ORDERED IT) Stronghold 1 and Stronghold Crusaders was a lot better, so meh I will probably make some more money and buy the whole set to compare, =D

Weirdest thing I remember from Stronghold 1 was the never-ending forests. They would keep re-growing constantly. I would box them in with walls, and they'd become super dense. Plenty of lumber I suppose.

I'm probably the most obsessed person here about Stronghold Crusader, at least was. In fact, my first ever Forum Experience was with Stronghold Crusader at Heavengames. I made plenty of friends, started my own inn too, designed maps, rated maps, etc. But that was years ago, this is now. I still play Stronghold Crusader every now and then, but I've learned to utilize many strategies that made the gaming experience quite better. In my experiments, I have found that a Zig Zag pattern of Castle building is the most effective pattern to use. The reason being is that whenever any attacking army, let it be Crusader, Arabian, or Online Player, attacks any ^ part of the formation, they will have 2 rows of Ranged Infantry bombarding down on them which makes for x2 quicker death, and thus x2 more deaths. And if they were to attack a V part of the formation, which is the weakest part, they will only have about 40 ranged infantry firing on them but also a Mangonal or however you spell it. And if they were to break through, they would again have a ^ formation to deal with and thus more archers. It's really an unbreakable strategy so long as you keep your farms behind your walls, which I do.
