This is a room i modeled with maya also. We had to make these corny lighting schemes so thats why it looks lame but i will put up nomral pictures of better quality later on. Also if you think of anythign that should be put into the room let me know please i am also looking to upgrade my projects.

It looks like Africa...or a giant dick with cancer.

* Xineoph is not insulting your work, please don't be offended. >_>

Actually upon further inspection, it also reminds of of StrawberryClock from Newgrounds.

nice work.

how do you make things like this, is it by hand, or do you use a program for things like this?

Looks like an Ironman body or something. Pretty cool though, seems like animation would be very time consuming.

yeah just this secntion of the body took about 4-5 hours and this is just the basic structure not including the fact i have to smooth the thing and adjust it once its completed to look like my drawings

Animation is pretty time consuming, but very fun. I am pretty good at it myself.

Siwelcela, what all have you made? I've made a whole city, an 18 wheeler, a baseball stadium, and a suspension bridge scene. Those are my major projects that I completed.

I have created the enitire main part of New York city including stop lights firehydrants gas stations buildings alley ways etc. It took me a while year. Then used the tron cycles and made a car chase through them. Only thing was it was such high quality it took 25 hours a frame to render and it had over 10k frames in the entire thing

Vanik Hardil

so it effectively took 250,000 hours to render the whole thing?

SIWELCELA
04-16-2009, 08:03 AM
yeah i had it rendering on like ten computers for a while but it never finished it was just way to large

um yeah i had to render it in wireframe mode just to be able to get something for my senior show but it was awesome non the less

Very nice job :D

I admire anyone that does 3D-modeling because, I have no idea how to do it. LOL I only know to make animation effects via Adobe After Effects :(
